The Name
Let’s start there.
00 is binary. The language of machines. The foundation everything runs on — ones and zeros, instructions executed at speed no human can match.
IA is Inteligencia Artificial — Spanish for Artificial Intelligence. My language. My lens.
00IA sits at the intersection of both: the machine and the human trying to understand it. That’s not just a name. That’s the whole project.
Who I Am When Nobody’s Watching
Monday to Friday I’m an HRIS manager at an energy company. I work with human capital systems, HR data, workforce processes. I help organizations manage their most important asset — their people — through technology.
Then the weekend comes.
And I become someone else. I open my laptop and I build. AI tools, experiments, prototypes. Things that probably have no business case, no deadline, no stakeholder asking for them. Things I build because the question behind them won’t leave me alone.
Most people have hobbies. Mine happens to be the technology that’s about to reshape everything.
The Problem With AI Content
There is no shortage of AI content on the internet.
There are breathless predictions about superintelligence. There are panicked op-eds about job losses. There are LinkedIn posts confidently explaining things their authors don’t fully understand. There is hype, and there is fear, and there is very little in between.
What’s missing is honest thinking from people who are actually in the middle of it — not researchers at labs, not venture capitalists with positions to protect, but regular people who use these tools, build with them on weekends, and watch them collide with the real world every day at work.
That’s the gap 00IA is trying to fill.
Why Now
I kept having thoughts I didn’t know what to do with.
Observations from work — about how AI is changing HR systems, how organizations are starting to think about automation differently, how the gap between what the technology can do and what most people know it can do is growing every day.
Experiments from weekends — things I built, things that failed, things that surprised me.
Questions that wouldn’t go away — about cognition, about what intelligence actually means, about where the line between human and machine is moving and whether it matters.
I was having these thoughts anyway. I figured I might as well write them down. And if I was going to write them down, I might as well share them.
So I built a place to do that. With the same tools I think and write about. Which felt right.
What This Is
00IA is not a predictions blog. I won’t tell you AGI is coming in 2027 or that your job is definitely safe or definitely gone.
It’s not a tutorial site. There are better places to learn how to fine-tune a model or write a prompt.
It’s a thinking space. Dispatches from someone who lives in two worlds — the structured, process-driven world of enterprise HR technology, and the chaotic, fast-moving world of AI development on nights and weekends.
Thoughts — essays and analysis on AI, society, and where we’re headed.
Code — technical posts from the workbench. Things I built, things I learned, things that didn’t work and why.
Cognition — the stuff that keeps me up at night. Intelligence, alignment, what it means to think, and what happens when machines start doing it too.
An Invitation
If you work with technology and wonder about where it’s going — you’re in the right place.
If you think about AI beyond the headlines — you’re in the right place.
If you’re also someone who builds things on weekends just to see if you can — definitely in the right place.
The signal is here. Zero noise. Welcome to 00IA.
